The Fall of the House Of Atreus

The Fall of the House of Atreus is a play cycle about the retelling of the Oresteia combined with the story of the meeting of Hippodamia and Pelops, as well as the tale of Aerope and how she was seduced by Atreus, and is told across six individual plays which focus on the key women within the narrative:

Hippodamia, Aerope, Helen, Iphigenia, ClytemnestraElectra.

The Fall of the House of Atreus play cycle explores, from the point of view of the key women in the myths, how we can move from a world of vengeance and violence

to a world of justice and peace.

Each individual play within the cycle can be staged as a stand alone contained play,

but staging the complete cycle gives a fuller, more epic, narrative.
