Medea Attica

 

Medea Attica is based on the second half of the Ancient Greek Medea myth.


Plot Summary

Medea, having killed her children and revenged herself on her lover Jason, has fled to Athens and sanctuary which has been given to her by her King Aegeus. 

 

Medea, however, in fear of being powerless ever again and running from her actions in Corinth, begins to eye the ultimate prize - the throne of Athens itself, to make sure she is forever in control of her life. King Aegeus, meanwhile, struggles with the fear of being childless and without an heir, but his desire for Medea will ultimately help Medea to the throne she so craves. However, will Medea be able to survive and can she hold on to the power?
